![]() ![]() This book focuses on the diversity stuff a bit too much. I noticed the description mentions the 2 main characters being "queer" and I figured that it probably just said that because some people will buy a comic just because "diversity" so you know, I'll still give it a shot (I like sci-fi adventures and punk rock, have nothing against LGBT people, got it in a bundle, so why not?). I like the punk kinda tone it goes for and it works really well. ![]() The characters are fairly interesting, I wanted to know what happened to them. The art is just fantastic! Instead, anime would be screened to a musical accompaniment, although many would also employ a live benshi (narrator) to fill in dialogue and story elements in the style of similar performances in the Japanese puppet theater or magic lantern shows. Voice acting in the earliest anime was not part of the finished work, since anime was in existence for a decade before the introduction of audio. In the days before digital copying and back-ups were possible, some M&E tracks did not survive as separate entities, seriously hampering the chances of an anime getting a foreign release. Fourth, I show that Nietzsche differs most from ancient authors in his uncompromising insistence that if friendship is to serve truth rather than comfort or illusion, it is necessarily agonistic. Third, I will show that Nietzsche takes friendship in its highest form to aim at a goal, appropriately named “truth.” Here I draw upon both “middle period” texts and BGE, the latter to show that a concern for friendship pervades Nietzsche’s oeuvre. Second, I will argue that Nietzsche takes superior friendship to be possible but rare, since it requires its participants to balance three pairs of opposing qualities which are difficult to keep in equilibrium. ![]() Insight on this point is valuable, because it provides clear vision of what friendship is not.
